I saw an interview not long ago and the Islamic/Muslim guy(s) said that there was “no allowance or acceptance for homosexuality in islam”

All in the name of ALLAH, GOD, The Boogeyman…

It’s worse than Stonewall! Why is it that of ALL the world’s religions, it’s the Abrahamic Religions: Judaism, Christianity and Moslems, each of which are male-dominated hierarchies and do not treat women as equals, the Moslems being the most misogynistic. So they subjugate and kill those who weaken their power!

You’d think we had a moral responsibility to step up and demand protection of the sexual minorities in a nation we just got through giving 2,000 American lives to liberate. What is the point of regime change in favor of a more democratic government if we allow it to ignore such atrocities even in the nameof Sharia law? Might the leaders of Iraq be thinking, how can you criticize us when you do not treat them that much better in your own land?

A story like this really makes my heart break. Hate is as old as recorded mankind has been on this earth and mostly because of religious ideologies. These deep faithful religions can and do really spread hate, not so much the religion itself, but the leaders of these religions who brainwash their followers with distorted antiquated stories.

I sent an email to President Obama via whitehouse.gov when this was originally brought up a few months ago. Perhaps if more of us send him our thoughts we may be able to get the State department to do something constructive?
