Obama picked up 77 electoral votes to McCain’s 34 on the way to the magic 270.
The crowd here at the NY LGBT center went crazy – standing up and cheering for the states (Connecticut! New Jersey! Mssachusetts!) that went for Obama, hissing (actually HISSING!) Oklahoma and Tennessee, which went to McCain.
