I don’t know what their obsession is. Imagine all of the time and energy wasted in battling over something that really doesn’t harm anyone. It could be used more constructively. Imagine that the millions of dollars that was spent for Prop 8 could have been used to go to help St. Jude’s research for kids with cancer (if they are so worried about children) or any other disease. That’s another thing that really pissed me off about that. The waste of it all. So ridiculous and hypocritical.

I like the comment about “having gay friends.” A real friend will except you for who you are. A real friend will take a bullet for you. I know I would. They should be honest and say “just mere acquaintances that they mildly tolerate because I don’t have the mental capability to except someone who’s not exactly like me or I can understand.”

Like I said, I don’t understand. I will admit to having one so-called phobia: It’s stupid people. Actually, it’s more of a detesting than a fear. I find them the baine of my existence. I’m sure many of you here can relate.

By the way, out of some morbid curiosity and a link provided from this site, I checked out that Phelps website. Wow! Talk about some schizophrenic ranting. I’ve had the unfortunate reality of dealing with someone like this in my past (my girlfriend’s ex) and his ranting was quite similar, although it was a different subject. I would really watch your back if you ever have to deal with this wacko in person. He may just picket for now, but who knows when he’ll likely snap and try to hurt or kill somebody.

Allow me to respectfully give your claims a logical retort from a skeptic’s perspective:

Your classification of homosexuality as neurotic behavior and references to paraphilias to children is not supported by the evidence of research done by scientists. Those “weasel words” (as commonly known) hold no weight in this argument.

Your statement “the core of the LGBT personality is histrionic and passive-aggressive personality disorders” is a generalization that requires empirical evidence to even be considered. Even then, it would have to be proven that the same rates of disorders do not correspond with the heterosexual population.

Your statements dismissing the evidence found by the APA and the government conspiring with the ABA only work to distract from the fact that you have provided no evidence whatsoever of your claims. Dismissing your opponent’s evidence, here through an ad hominem attack, does not make your argument any stronger.

And now to your main weakness: lack of evidence. You have shown no proof for your claims. If you are to win the argument supporting your claims, you bear the burden of proof.

If you cannot provide any empirical evidence to support your claim, then you will have to concede to the fact that your opponents have won the argument.

I’m disappointed that we are still talking about “Joe the plumber”. Regarding his comments – I find it surprising that he has gay “friends” at all.

Secondly, ….harm to others. Sexual assault of a social conservative on the job is what prevented the LGBT community from emulating Europe and Sweden any sooner than it has. I’ll leave it to you to look up the 9-0 Supreme Court decision on which Lambda Legal piggybacked.
