Barack Obama’s grandmother died today and a judge in Virginia refused to order more ballots be printed to accomodate record voter turnout.

It’s a sad day for a key American family, but sadder for the state of Virginia.

Here’s hoping that tomorrow brings us enough successes to outweigh today.
