Very impressed with mr Rodrieguez. We need to understand both sides of the case here, we can't trample on people's faith, even if the same people have trampled on our relationships. We need to take the high road, it's going to be a long struggle, but we'll win it in the end

It was an alright article. Who cares about respecting religion. The author was speaking form both sides of his mouth. On the one hand he talks about how horrible and evil the church is but on the other he asks me to respect an oppressive institution just because he belongs to the Roman Catholic Church and he still wants to continue to be a part of that community. The same people who took my civil rights away because of their bigoted belief system. Religions apologist. No, not quite. He's more like oh God I don't know. He talks about how the Judeo-Christian-Islam being a male religion and how its bad for society but yet he says he has no plans of leaving it and offers us no solution. What about our community? Does he have any loyalty to our cause? He's just another example of religious apologist who advocates for us to wait and to be nice. Screw that. No civil rights movements have been successful without noises being made. Because of ACT UP, we've made many gains in the fight against Aids that the people all over the world benefited from and they didn't get things done by being nice.

That was a great article. I completely agree that a stable society will only be achieved if women are treated equally, and the gay movement is more related to feminism than the black civil rights movement.
