Turns out that taking drugs might not be such a bad thing afterall. For anyone who has ever taken their friends’ ADD medication, this article supports your choice (though it warns that the sale was technically illegal). More important, the article states that the future will bring more brain enhancing drugs and might even include mandatory drug use for certain high concentration fields (like doctors or pilots).
I don’t like this sort of thing because it means everyone will have to take enhancing druids in order to stay competitive and leave being natural behind..
And yet I’m sure marijuana will still be illegal. A natural drug that Judge Francis L. Young, a DEA Administrative Law Judge, in a 1988 petition to have marijuana reclassified stated “Marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man.” The ONLY reason marijuana is illegal is due to the ease which it can be grown.
