Study: HIV vaccines do not increase risk of infection

New Scientist magazine reports that initial fears that HIV vaccines might actually make one more vulnerable to HIV infection have been allayed.
Early trials using HIV genes inserted into an inert cold virus indicated that such a vaccine made test subjects more succeptible to later contracting HIV, but a new analysis indicates that this is not the case.
