I don’t know how I missed this.
But last week, Fox radio host John Gibson, instead of actually responding to an argument Rachel Maddow made on MSNBC about Jeremiah Wright and Barack Obama, tried to diminish her by playing an audio clip that said, “Ooooh, lesbians, yummy.” And then went on to make various other unintelligible comments regarding her sexual orientation. Really, Mr. Gibson?
Rachel Maddow, though I don’t always agree with her, is a brilliant political commentator and a former Rhodes Scholar with a PhD in political science.
Gibson, on the other hand, earned his BA from BA from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. He’s an entertainer, not an analyst.
Guess he responded the way he did because he wasn’t smart enough to understand what she was saying.
Of course, he’s the same guy who made those gruesome gay jokes after Heath Ledger’s death.
He should be fired.
