Finally it’s here. After all the speeches, debates, arguments, radio and TV ads, it’s Super Tuesday. Twenty-four states are having either a primary or caucus, and once the counting is done there is a good possibility that obvious front-runners will emerge in both parties.
If you are registered, get out and votes people. Yeah, Yeah I know there is no one running you are into (sorry Dennis Kucinich didn’t make it to Super-Duper Tuesday), but this is the easiest part in a democracy. Going to an election center and pulling a lever. What’s not to love about that?
If the history of it all doesn’t move you, then do it this: it’s also Fat Tuesday (for those visiting New Orleans make sure you go to Verti Marte and get a fried chicken po-boy, dressed). Vote first then find some cutie and give him/her some Mardi Gras beads. You’ll feel better for it.
