Just like it is wrong to label all gay whites racist, it is wrong to label the entire African American community homophobic. Moreover, there are a greater number of white homophobics in the LARGER white Christian conservatives. So please, stop being Africaphobic.
RIP Jose Sucuzhanay.
Don’t expect to see the asses of these low lives behind bars anytime soon. Given the culture of no snitching and the violent homophobia in the black community, those criminals might end up as heroes rather than as the murderers they’re in the eyes of their community.
Here’s the sketch of one of them->

Why are so many supposedly straight black men so insecure? This is the thing that really gets me. And I keep hearing these BS excuses about how they’ve not been allowed to be men historially in the mainstream and not have had fathers in their lives. I think some of this violent homophobia comes from this insecurity and uncertainly about not only your sexual orientation but gender identity as well even well into their twenties. And the black church and black media does tacitly support homophobia and even violent homophobia and certainly this unreal, self-destructive macho male role model of black men that is the only role model out there for young black men. So many black men I’ve known are sensitive but they’re just not allowed to be so. They’be got to be these MEN, extremely disconnected from their feminine selves. And homophobia is part of that image. I find this in other communities like the Hispanic community but in the black community it’s extreme and extends into black culture in the Carribean and Africa as well.
Yes, Jonathan. Described as three or four black men.
I guess I didn’t hear about that…are the attackers black? I didn’t read that in the articles here.
Very sad. Why is African-American homophobia so bad? I doubt it’s the churches (at least they say you’re not supposed to kill people). I personally think it’s gangsta rap culture.
