Let’s end a tiring week (the Maine vote and yesterday’s Fort Hood incident) on some levity. Former reverend and present fame supplicant Ted Haggard is returning to spiritual guidance. In his living room.
Yes the man who described himself as “a heterosexual with complications” (loves, as in utterly, that line) is back to preaching.
“We wanted to do something in our house to connect with friends,” Haggard said.
I bet Ted wants to reconnect. Let’s give the man credit for a smart move. Get some cute guys to come to your house for “spiritual guidance.” A much shorter walk from the living room to the bedroom. Mrs. Haggard? Sweetie? I would be worried if I were you because I know what a booty search looks like. Unless you are a perv too and like to see your man work his magic. Nothing wrong with being a perv by the way, as long as you are an adult and your perv stuff involves others of age.
Apparently Haggard’s income comes from traveling to churches talking about himself and those “complications.” Why a church would want this guy to talk is beyond me. I understand what it means to be a failed human being (trust me), but this guy only functions when he is at the center of any spotlight.
I’ve never written anything about McIntyre. Unless you mean to imply McIntyre is a stand in for another Ivy League professor I have written about. If you do mean that, then I know everything about you I need to know Ms. Mens.

We need a better word to describe freaks like him.
Maybe someone would send him a bottle of sleeping pills, clearly marked as such with all the warnings.
He might get the idea and give the world a blessing.

I wanna know what the hell’s going on with the wife that she puts up with this shit. Does he have her doped to keep her compliant, like the entourage did to Anna Nicole? If she shot his balls off in a fit of nuclear rage, there’s not a court in the land that would convict.
Isaac…Who cares if you play into a game that only they are playing? Those that are against are going to be… playing by their rules only puts them in charge.
Two points.
1. It’s embarrassing that you, or anyone else, should give this cretin the attention he craves. He’s a self-hating hypocrite and a tiresome little man. Ignoring him will not make him go away, but many of us will be happier if we never hear his name again.
2. You should be ashamed of yourself for using a term like “perv” in your post above, even if you do say there’s nothing wrong with it. While threesomes and voyeuristic practices may not be my cup of tea, such acts between consenting adults are certainly not perverted. Really, Mr Withers, stop playing into the hands of the Religious Right who would have us believe that anything other than sex between husband and wife for the purposes of procreation (and doubtless in the confines of their bedroom with the lights out) is perverted.
