Regardless of the outcome of today's elections, we must press on for full lgbt equality. For renewed strength, look at the C-Span online replay of the speeches at the recent Equality Rights march in DC. And for a completely different spirit building moment, take a look at the charterforcompassion website TED acceptance speech by Karen Armstrong - not lgbt specific but never-the-less a very worthwhile endeavor in which we all should participate.

So I just started "dating" this boy who hails from Maine and I told him how anxious I am about the outcome there today. He is probably going to think I'm nuts because while he is over tonight...I am going to be checking in often to see where "we" stand. As religious as I'm not...I am seriously going to be praying to something tonight that Marriage Equality stands in Maine and Washington. Will it set precident to other states populations opinions on such ballot initiatives? Who knows. But we'll never know if it doesn't go in our favor. I really REALLY hope we dont have another Prop. H8 outcome on our hands.

Move to CT. At least our legal system isn't stuck in 1850 and they realized the inequalities in our "Snivil Unions" with out going to public opinion. Plus...out Constitutional Amendment wasn't passed in '08, so we'll have it for at least another 20 years!

Lets go USA...Make this really the land of the free..
