$150,000 on clothes. Doesn’t that make her more concerned with her appearance than jobs and food for Americans?

Your typical “hockey mom” wishes she could drop $150,000 on clothes over the course 20 years! In a time of economic hardship it might have been more politic for Palin to be her wardrobe at an outlet store. On the one-hand she’s promoting her small-town values but on the other she’s trying to play movie star. Didn’t they criticize Obama for being a “celebrity”?

She’s supposed to be about Main Street and change and how can you be about change if you spend $150k to look like you belong in DC and not Alaska? At a minimum she should have at least spent the money in her own state being governor and all. I bet Joe the Plumber would have at least done that – if he had access to $150K for new clothing.

Yes, I remember the flack Edwards caught for a $400 haircut. This is not a haircut. This is $15K for clothes, on top of approximately $13K spent for her makeup and nearly $8K for John McCain’s. All spent within the span of two months.

This kind of wanton abuse is worthy of spending time on. The behavior of candidates during their campaign is a fair representation of how how they would govern.

So, why didn’t she buy them with her own money? Why? because her taste in clothes, like her intellect, and opinions, are lacking in good taste and judgement, that’s why.
