During the Democratic and Republican primaries I was all about polls; however, crunching numbers turns old and eventually the only counting worth a darn is done on election day. This time last year former NYC mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani was lapping the competition and Senator Hillary Clinton was on her Sherman like march to the nomination. Last time I checked those two are out.

Now that we can see the finishing line, I’ll turn back to poll watching. Today’s daily tracking by Rasmussen Reports is bound to bring a smile to any Obama partisan and keep McCain fans cranky.  For some reason I doubt these figures.
