Great thanks for sharing this information regarding this topic. Hope to read more of this from you. Michael Duvall, former legislator from the California state legislature, is not what would be called "smart." In fact, the opposite – this vicious dunderhead Michael Duvall was caught bragging about cheating on his wife with Heidi Dejong Barsuglia, a lobbyist. This gets better - he consistently runs on the Family Values bit, which is ironic, in that part of that family values set is one of the 10 rules you aren't supposed to break. You know the one I mean; "Thou shalt not commit adultery." Oh - and she's married too. Some family values. What this means is that Michael Duvall and Hedi's spouses will be serving papers – and getting successful requests for "<a href="http://personalmoneystore.com/Cash-Advance/cash-Now/my-Cash-Now/" rel="nofollow">my cash now</a>!"

Yes, it is sad that those that have been elected to protect our rights act up in such a way. I remember how it sounded with all those Democates booed interupting Buche's almost every time he addressed the house and senate. Living in Southern Arizona I can assure you that illegals already get health care and even get HUD low income housing. I am having trouble seeing why all, or most gay groups run to the aide of any democrate and attack any republican.

tjr: You're correct. They weren't yelling "YOU LIE", as I said, they were booing in unison. Although the words might be different, the concept remains the same. The Dems are mad because someone yelled at Obamma, but they don't want to address the fact that they also booed bush which was also inappropriate. Simple, I see both sides as being very childish. This isn't the kind of behavior that should be seen of people of their years, nor people of their positions.

The entire system in this country is a train wreck. The Congress doesn't even respect the Office of the President of the United States. It doesn't matter if they respect the person holding the office, they need to at least show some basic respect for the Office itself. This is something both parties have failed to do.

People think I'm nuts when I say fire every single one of them and start over. The people in this country are being walked on, and it needs to stop. If it takes a revolution to make it happen, then so be it. I would prefer to see things get cleaned up within the guidelines that already exist.

Craig... get off your high horse. No one shouted "YOU LIE" to Bush when it was clear he was lying about WMD's in Iraq. To this day soldiers are still dying because of that.

UH, James, please view Mr. Wilson's recant video clip posted EVERYWHERE! He emphatically maintains that he and his Party? are absolutely 100% spot-on correct. Let's sit back and observe just how lame this all will come to pass.
Respectfully

Oh get off it people. When Bush was making a speech to Congress and getting booed by most of the Democratic party, you didn't hear this much outrage. Now that King Obammy I is in power, it seems the Dems are outraged every time someone disagrees with him. Granted, it was unprofessional for the freshmen senator to make that outburst, but its not nearly as unprofessional as the mountain of Dems that were booing Bush.

In defense of Rep. Wilson's outburst: shouting out even on the floor of the House of Congress might be bad form, but it's not harmful in and of itself. Government officials shout and yell and even physically fight each other in other parliaments around the world; one little shout from one little congressman in America is essentially small freaking beans. What Rep. Wilson shouted out was factually incorrect, it was actually and technically WRONG, and therein lies the problem. Keith Olbermann made a special comment on that very subject last night. I suggest that everyone check it out.

And kudos to that one poster who highlighted racism as an underlying factor behind the anti-Obama rhetoric. It's not really popular to say that yeah, this country has a really effing racist history which still influences the way people think and behave, but it's true. What's right is not always popular and what's popular is not always right. Racism is becoming popular again, but in the worst, most subversive ways imaginable. But how does anyone combat such an idea, let alone one that people patently refuse to talk about or acknowledge? What recourse are we left with when we accuse others of racism and they claim something else? (I.e. health coverage for illegal immigrants.) How bad does the climate have to get before people acknowledge how dangerous this kind of thinking is? Does someone have to die first? What if that person is the president? What then?

"this would not be like the systems in Europe or Canada."

A shame, since both have superior health care systems at lower cost, as well as longer life expectancies and healthier populations in general.

but then, Europe and Canada are better at most things than the United States - except for wasting trillions on warfare and bloated militarys.
