It’s not a good move to have the senator from Connecticut, Joe Lieberman, follow Fred Thompson. He’s bringing the crowd down with his delivery.
Lieberman sets in on Obama calling him “a gifted, and eloquent, young man”; however, he lacks the experience of McCain. And Lieberman closes the circle by giving vice president nominee Sarah Palin the change mantle (her experience, or lack thereof, has never been a question tonight).
Yeah, he’s switching parties next year. He is relishing his role as the attack dog tonight.
If Lieberman were a Democrat, the entire Democratic Party would preach about tolerating him and how the Democrats are such a big tent party.
I hated him back in 2000 when he was on the Gore/Lieberman ticket, I hated him back in 2004 when he was still a Democratic poster boy, and I hate him now. But here’s the difference, I hate him regardless of whether he’s Democrat, Republican or independent.
Cannot wait for this ass to get his payback when the Dems sweep the election in November.
Take his committee appointments away, move his office to a dark hole, and work like hell to defeat him in the next election for his Senate seat. What a weasel!
