Maybe that story would have elicited more comments if they had actually admitted ACTING inappropriately. It seems like they only admitted to clerical errors, like not submitting proper documentation, and not wearing proper attire. Seems like they're trying to appease us by punishing the agents, without really bringing up the serious charges of missconduct that should be considered.

Couldn't agree with you more. LGBT folk in Fort Worth are as apt to fall into the old boy - behind closed doors finagling that the leading oligarchs of Cowtown have been using forever. They call it the "Fort Worth Way," and it concentrates power in the hands of a few. Some LGBT people in FW like it that way, apparently. There is a major debate North Texas queers have not had yet, and it is 'way past due: on the best means of advancing LGBT freedoms and culture here. Class plays a big part in how queer folk see the world in Texas. Some don't like "street protesters" and see them as Loud-mouthed kids." Others see the gentrified commercial queers with their techiques of behind the scenes negotiations as bought and sold by the old oligarchy. The problem is that we need ALL of us, not just some of us, and ALL the ways of advancing LGBT rights in the Metroplex. It is time to pull together and make noise, especially since the US Attorney now says he won't investigate or review anything.
