The best movie I've seen this summer has been rented. It's called "Towelhead," and it's by the makers of "Six Feet Under" and "True Blood." It's a sexual coming of age story about a 13 year-old Lebonese-American girl in Houston during the first gulf war. Issues of race, gender, politics, war, and family dysfunction fuel the movie. It's intense and upsetting at times, but it "gets to a good [but not simplistic] place" in the end. If you're OK with the subject matter, I highly recommend it. >Any summer movie suggestions?
