As disagreeable a person as Mr.Hilton has always made himself appear, I’ve always taken him with a few grains of salt. After all,being controversial is part of his job description right? I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt…until now. Hilton undoubtedly crossed a line when he abused his freedom of speech rights to purposefully goad a man to violence. AS a gay man myself it infuriates me to see someone who represents the WORST of us using the very word that most of us revile,not to mention getting this much attention. Mr. Hilton, or whatever his name is at the moment, KNEW the reaction this word would get; was banking on it in fact. Of course violence can’t be tolerated, so I will stop barely short of saying that he got what he deserved… but I can’t help wondering though, what Will i am’s personal reaction, not to mention the public outcry would have been if Hilton had used the “n word”? I dare say that he would have been clocked in that scenario as well.
I think that it is time to relegate this person to the ash-bin of has-been. He has more than proven himself worth the title HOLLYWOOD POISON and I for one will boycott any event or product associated with his name.
Mr Perez, your 15 minutes were up fifteen minutes ago!

As much as many people want to bitch slap Perez, hitting someone no matter how vile and/or obnoxious he/she may be is intolerable. Perez needs to sue the bling off the manager for assault.

I also assume that you think that Larry Kramer’s seminal novel “Faggots” should be banned because of it’s title and “demeaning” portrayals of gay men in the text.

This is a letter I wrote to Perez:

Well, well… whatever you get – you deserve. Look at Perez crying like a little baby. You make me sick! You like to rip on celebrities with real talent, while also wanting to be one of them. Who are you to judge other peoples talent or fashion sense when you have none yourself?!! You are a shit spewing, sycophant that feeds off the table scraps of real Stars! Yes, that means you are a human parasite – a bottom feeder! As a gay dude myself, I think it’s gross the way you perpetuate the “catty fag” stereotype. You claim to fight for the rights of gay people – but YOU DO NOT REPRESENT ME! Karma is a bitch – yes even bitchier then you – which means, there are more bad things that will befall you. You sow seeds of discontent and soon you’ll have to reap the harvest. Even though violence is not cool, be a man and stop crying over a little scuffle. YOU CERTAINLY LAUGHED AND MADE A JOKE OF JESSE METCALFE WHEN HE WAS PUNCHED OUT AND CAUGHT ON TAPE! You even alluded to the idea that he may have deserved it because he – according to you – is only a D lister. You didn’t “pull any punches” back then did you? NO! Well see now what happens?! And for added ugliness you used an ugly word to insult a man. How dare use that word and think its okay. When I hear that word it reminds me of the many times I had to endure it and it was usually stated before a beating. I am horrified by how many people are saying he deserved it. How many in america think lgbt people deserve the ass kickings they get? Or how about those radio hosts that think its ok to beat your child if hes trans. Perezs behaviour is unacceptable, but he did not deserve to be physically assaulted, no one does. Shame on everyone condoning it.

The whole thing was just wrong. Both parties are just wrong.

Also, I agree if blacks are okay with using the n word to eachother and others. Gays are allowed to use the F word the same way. Even though I don’t personally condone both of their use.

Both parties were in err.

I’m against the use of violence. Having said this, Perez Hilton had this coming and it was long overdue. He is a gross, disgusting individual that makes money off of people’s private lives. Unfortunately in America, groups of people get stereotyped by the actions of a single individual. It happens to all minorities and its happening now to the gay community with Perez Hilton.
