After the passage of prop 8, James excused the black voters who voted for it by calling white gay people racists. All white gay people – he said that the gay community was “fundamentally racist.”

He judged me by my skin color. He indicted an entire group of people while excusing another group of people, based solely on their race.

That is racism.

James is one of the most racist authors I’ve ever read.

He denies his own published words at this point, but has since republished them several times in one form or another.

Racism is racism is racism.

James is a racist.

Eddie in LA: what are you talking about in referring to James as a racist based on this or ANY of his articles!?! I am a white lesbian and have read his articles. Not that James can’t fend for himself, but you’re annoying me now with throwing out all these allegations with NO back up. Anybody can click on James Withers name at the top of this article and see and click on more of his articles. What’s your beef and where’s your proof?

This was a great and honest article about the horrible actions of a horrible man in a place that is meant to respect the memories of the victims of the Holocaust.

Yup – your hero Obama – just filed against you and in support of DOMA.

This is sad and tragic news, that just lets you know that racism still remains a issue. for most americans they cant seem to see past the color of our skin, or the content of our character.

guns need to be outlawed like in most other places. we have these rednecks running around with their guns and this is getting out of hand! that is the second time in two weeks and it will keep happening until something is done about it. it time to stop is hate and outlaw the guns. atleast with knives or other weapons people have a chance to defend thier live against these crazy people! im not taking about making them harder to get i mean outright outlaw them with very stiff penalties.
