I re-read it and just because he does not support your unconventional ideas, and believes that homosexuality is wrong does not make him a coward, because if everyone who does not support homosexuality is a coward then the WHOLE COUNTRY would be a coward. Face it, your baseless attacks and character assinations are pointless and you are waisting your time. Rudy will be your next governor, like it or not.

Thanks for the comment and the figures; however, I think you need to re-read the post. Giuliani’s cowardice has nothing to do with supporting my agenda. The man was too scared to call two friends who let him live with them for six months. That is the action of a coward.

Keep using that “civic duty” of yours.

Mayor Giuliani is by no stretch of the imagination a coward. Just because he does not support your agenda, that does not make him a coward. Have you ever met Giuliani? Probably not. I am 16, and fairly young – but I have learned in my legnthy carrer in politics that you should not comment on those you do not know the WHOLE truth about. As an American, I feel it my civic duty to inform the public of the WHOLE truth of Mr. Giuliani’s carrer as mayor.

Here are the facts, under Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s leadership:
-Unenployment was cut in HALF
-Over 423,000 jobs created
-49.93% increase in personal income for citizens
-$2.3 billion budget deficit was turned into a $2.9 billion surplus
-23 taxes were reduced or eliminated
-$4 billionadditionalspending in the schools
-Hired 8,000+ new teachers
-72% drop in shootings
-Rape went down 45.7%
-Robbery went down 67.2%
-Motor Vehicle Theft went down 73.3

Mayor Giuliani is not a COWARD. You, sir, are the coward.

Giuliani is exactly like he has always been. His agenda is all about himself. His career was in the toilet before 9/11. When it was politically expedient for him to be socially more progressive (he wanted to be NYC mayor) then he was progressive. Now he wants something else & has decided he has to be socially very conservative. There is not a moral principle fiber in any part of his being. It is all about him! Friends? What friends?

Menstruator, because someone has never marched in a parade they are a homophobe/bigot? Is that what you’re saying? I’ve never marched in a gay pride parade, not my style. You can support gay rights and not show up at a gay pride parade. So Giuliani marched in a parade…whoopie! He’s still a Republican and nothing he’s done benefits the gay community.

Rudy knew this wedding was going to take place. He obviously had advanced noticed. There is absolutely NO REASON why he couldn’t attend the wedding of his (supposedly) close friends. He stayed at their house for 6 months for Christ’s sake! What he did to them was the worse kind of betrayal. He chose his political career over his friends. This is coming from someone who had been married three times, and yet he espouses the sanctity of marriage. It just reeks of hypocrisy.

I wouldn’t vote for Giuliani for anything – but a Republican not attending a gay event is hardly news – even if those same gay men had been friends of his or shown him hospitality. Rudy is a media hound and opportunist. In short, he is a Republican.

But the man has marched in our parades. Obama? This June? Chicago? He was getting his haircut during pride. Is the visibility so important? If so why isn’t it the same across the board? I’ve matched in the same parade as Guiliani but I have not had that pleasure with the current president. I’ve even marched in the same parade as Hillary. Is the president too busy now, because he wasn’t then. And if that’s the case why couldn’t it be that Guiliani was too busy?
