One of his opponets in the 80's even brought Byrd's white KKK rob to a debate. I think his medical problems had to do less with Kennedy and more with seeing a black man as President. Senator Byrd apparantly drifted into a semiconcious state and became panicked and disorintatated on noticing that his head was not in it's usual place. UP HIS ASS! Ted had a seizure, gee nobody saw that coming huh! In the real world these two would be put out on disability. Two great examples of the need for term limits or at least a maximum age to stop ruling er, I mean, serving the people. Com'on even the RC church makes the "Old Ladies in Red"retire at 75! Yeh!
