NBC News is reporting Senator Robert Bryd suffered a “health emergency” during the luncheon that was held the inauguration. No details as of yet. NPR just reported that Senator Ted Kennedy was taken away from the luncheon due to health issues.
Yeh! Senator Byrd apparantly drifted into a semiconcious state and became panicked and disorintatated on noticing that his head was not in it’s usual place. UP HIS ASS! Ted had a seizure, gee nobody saw that coming huh!
In the real world these two would be put out on disability. Two great examples of the need for term limits or at least a maximum age to stop ruling er, I mean, serving the people. Com’on even the RC church makes the “Old Ladies in Red”retire at 75!
Having grown up in West Virginia, it’s no secret that Robert Byrd was (possibly still is) a memeber of the KKK. One of his opponets in the 80’s even brought Byrd’s white KKK rob to a debate.
I think his medical problems had to do less with Kennedy and more with seeing a black man as President.
