I’m not a person of faith but I’ll give the man credit for this: he said God’s love was for everyone God made. That’s a line you rarely hear from the Christian right. He gets credit for that. But that’s it.
The man thinks we are pedophiles and animals rapists. He gets nothing from me.

What’s done is done. He (Warren) was disgusting to look at, and I found a small amount of pleasure in that. I will leave him to the Karma police and wash my hands of it all.

He gets credit for NOTHING. Actions speak louder than words, and it is what this man actually DOES that matters. To date, all Obama has done is insult the GLBT community.

I’m not sure why we need to acknowledge Mr. Warren’s lies. TALK from Mr. Warren has already proven he considers gays unworthy of God’s love or civil equality. And, I’ve seen no tangible actions of inclusion.
Maybe we should wait to praise him until AFTER he does something FOR gays instead of TO gays.
And, you’re assuming that Mr. Warren was including gays as being created by God. How do you know he doesn’t think gays were created by Satan?

I didn’t hear any “inclusion”. Yes he said all god’s people but then he made the horrible, embarrassing and likely unconstitutional reference to “jesu” and 5 or 6 other names for Jesus, who we all know is the leader of the virgin born cannabilistic child god cult.
So forget about nonbelievers..anyone not an evangelical was not in his “inclusive” definition of god’s creations.
And, yes, I see the innauguration for what it is: something put on by Congress, which shall make no law establishing religion blah blah blah. This wasn’t Obama’s event, it was Congress’ event and haveing prayer there was illegal!
This is nothing new. Warren has stated before that he loves gay people. What disgusts him is when gay people *behave* as gay people.
His words are chosen to be intentionally deceiving and disarming. His hateful actions tell the real truth.
I get it. All you’re doing is pointing out he said it.
God’s love, in Warren’s opinion, comes with strings that I will not be hung from.
I’m pleased that your spinelessness has crossed the racial barrier. Who knows, perhaps you’ll move on to self respect one day.
